Someone at an office I worked at sprayed airfreshener on a fan, trying to make the room smell nice. It had the added effect of getting the blades clean. Unfortunately, there was a dark grey line acro...

I love bagless vacuum cleaners: When they are full, I empty their contents into a… bag.

It's like a perpetual motion machine where the trick is where to hide the batteries.

My Dyson fan is also a air filter and it's great in small spaces where there isn't room for a conventional fan.

we had similar air movers called adductors in the Navy. we used a pressurized air hose from a compressor to give the motive force to may move a lot of air and they worked really well and those truly....

Old technology. We used similar, but powered by compressed air for enclosed space ventilation in a power station. That was definitely bladeless.

Am I the only one who enjoys the "bumpiness" of a regular fan? Feels more like natural wind

Ive got a bladeless fan and i want to argue that the old ones are better at moving air and make less noise.

Dyson reinvented the fan to be less efficient, noisier, less powerful but yet more expensive

Still not worth $300+ per fan when I can get a $10 box fan that moves more air even faster.

And for just $200 you can have a less efficient fan 😂 Nah the Dyson fans really are cool and I always wanted one when they first came out but then I started looking into buying one with my own money...

Just telling everyone that you don’t actually need to clean the blades as the blades are protected from dust a grime by special filters that intern cane be cleaned.

In real life testing Regular fans are actually more efficient and produce faster airflow

  27. T
    TangentialThinker

Hey, let me tell you something. You can just turn off the fan when you wanna clean it.

  28. M
    MilkyWayMoment

They’re not bladeless, true. They’re harder to clean though.

  29. S
    StabTheStrawSoftly

While the airflow seems better, it is actually looks hard to clean, since the fans are hidden and these hidden fans can collect lint overtime.

The Dyson fan looks like it's not a fan but it is a fan
